When a commercial door company came to us for a control solution for their door safety system, we knew exactly what to do!
We leveraged our experience in other commercial projects to quickly develop a 6 channel door lighting controller complete with 3D printed case. The operating modes can be selected at installation time and adjusted for specific needs.
This product undergoes our bespoke quality control testing process to ensure each unit is fully functional on delivery.
Our internal project name is the Door Light Controller (DLC), and the brief was simple. Design a reliable commercial grade controller that can drive lights mounted on each side of a roller door in response to sensor inputs and door limit switches.
The DLC can be powered from either 12V or 24V and drive up to 4A per bank of 3 outputs. This gives the ability to drive two sets of RGB lights, or 6 individual single colour lights.
We incorporated large 5mm screw terminal blocks for secure electrical connections, and the latest version includes a 4-way DIP switch for mode selection and two trimmers for on-site adjustment.
We partner with our sister company LEDstuff to offer a complete solution to our client by supplying not only the Door Light Controller, but also the power supply and custom strip lighting and aluminium retainer cut to length and ready to install.
